Hi guys!

Ok,so let me first start by saying i do have good dental hygiene (brush and mouthwash twice a day,try to choose sugar free option etc) and on the whole I have very few problems with my teeth. However when a problem arises it always a bad one.

Due to a new very painful problem (failed root canal from years ago and now a major infection)means i am going to be having 2 back teeth out next week!!
I will then have 3 missing teeth on my bottom row (all at the back so you can't see them).
I was considering having some bridge work done to fill in the gaps but the thought of having my teeth filed down to have them connected concerns me in terms of possible future problems it can cause.so i was thinking of having partial dentures done instead (god that makes me sound about 90!!).
My reason for all my waffling here is i was wondering if anyone else out there has any of these dentures and are they any good .......by that I mean do they irritate or move or feels uncomfortble etc

Any experience/feedback would be great
Xx

I have a missing tooth at the front and have a denture for that. It feels like I have a bit of chewing gum stuck on the roof of my mouth most of the time. I actually don't mind it much at all and it's much better than the broken tooth that was there before.

My dentist did say it would be daft to file down the other teeth for a bridge though. He gave me options of a denture, a maryland bridge or something else that involves building a tooth around a bit of mesh (can't remember what it was called I'm afraid!). The denture is in theory a temporary measure though while I do some saving up.
