Have you tried posting on the forces boards on MN? Not that I don't care but I have no experience therefore no advice to give!

In the meantime, feel free to rant on here, it's kind of a speciality Grin

And no sympathy for my head, it's self inflicted!

Morning, tis me, Mouse.

Well, you'll never guess what?

Nemo slept the whole night 9from 10.45) in his own bed (cot) until 8.35am!!!

Wolf did too with no mess this morning!

What's that you say? So did you sleep, Mouse?

Oh yes, like a log from 5 til 8 Hmm

Fecking brilliant.

Anyway, FFF has started with a bacon toastie, huge mug of tea and mega pain meds.

Jazzie - I agree with Bitter about posting in the Forces bit of MN, there will be lots of people who have been or are in your shoes.

And I agree with SAF re the feed. Not an issue lovely, just top him up Smile

Bitter - was it your anniversary? I love fizz Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/02/2011 10:10

It was indeed Mouse Smile

Yay for Nemo!! He will be riding a bike and scoffing a roast dinner before you know it Grin

Jazzie, no offence but can you stop with the benefits bashing? I'm sure your Mum is being shit but that has nothing to do with her being on benefits.

And we have been Married 4 years, together 10 Smile

No worries, I wasn't sure if you meant it like that which is why I felt I should mention it.

Rant away, like I said, it helps just to write it down sometimes. Smile

Mouseface · 25/02/2011 10:40

I knew it was soon Bitter, ah, how lovely. Congratulations lovely. xxx Smile

Jazzie - sorry I crossed posts with you letting it all out Blush

And, yes, I have to agree that just because you're on benefits doesn't make you behave like a twat.

I'm on lots of benefits, as is Nemo. I can't work because of my rubbish legs, and I choose to care for Nemo full-time so that I don't have to put him into residential care.

He's a 24/7 toddler, as they all are, but his Complex Needs makes the quality of his life less than any other 'normal' child of the same age, so I have do that bit more for him, which I never begrude but may whinge about Wink

He doesn't speak, he has only just started to walk and he doesn't eat.

When you said about a nursery fucking up your DS's life/character, changing him or letting him down, I know exactly what you mean. It's so hard to let them go when it's been you/DH setting his routines etc.

That's why I can't let anyone else care for Nemo, because besides the medical requirements, they don't know him.

He suffers badly with seperation anxiety too, due to the trauma he suffered at such a young age.

As soon as I am able to, I will be going back to work. I'm planning to re-train as either a physio or a Chidren's Community Nurse.

JK fodder/benefit scroungers are in the minority, he just happens to find them all and buses them in! Grin

Confused Don't be daft Jazzie!

Seriously, it wasn't a 'go' at you, I was trying to help you to understand my situation, and that not everyone who claims hundreds in benefits each month, has a choice.

Nothing more Smile

Jazzie.

You need some support for this 'downer' and there is nothing wrong in that.

You say that you have conversations with yourself.... why not go and see your GP? Why not go and meet a friend for coffee, just let it all out, face to face?

Is DH in active service now? How often is he home to support you?

You say you have no family near, no support network in them, who do you have?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/02/2011 12:42

I am showered and Dog is walked. What happened to Jazzie? I hope I didn't cause any offence.

Mouseface · 25/02/2011 13:02

Not as far as I can see Bitter. Smile

Mouseface · 25/02/2011 14:06

So, how's FFF going? Cheese and pickle sarnie, Quavers and now Diet Coke....

Just about to don face packs with DD Grin

Nemo in bed, Wolf has been invited to a puppy party to get to 'know' other dog. Smile

New wooden floor has been bought......

Takeaway tonight.

JazzieJeff · 25/02/2011 14:24

Not in the least bitter. I just wasn't thinking when I posted; of course I don't have a problem with benefits for the right reasons; illness/disability/sahm etc. What I do have a problem with is giving up work because 'you'll be better off on benefits' and going out and getting high when you still have a dependent at home. That's what I take issue with and why I get angry at her. I was writing with my head running in slow time.

But this isn't the appropriate place to air my problems; you all have it far worse than me so it's not on. That's why I asked for my posts to be deleted; I've embarrassed myself... Again! I'm rather good at that!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/02/2011 14:28

It's not about who has it worst Jazzie.

Mouse hasn't had a full night's sleep since Nemo was born but that doesn't mean I can't come on here and whinge because DS got me up at 5 o'clock.Grin

You haven't embarrassed yourself at all, stick around and vent away, it's sometimes easier to write it all down although I hope you have RL supprt as well? It sounds like you have been having a tough time.

JazzieJeff · 25/02/2011 14:34

Aaah I didn't mean to insult people even more! I didn't mean has it worse in a derogatory manner.... That makes me sound even worse! I'll quit whilst I'm ahead I think Smile

Mouseface · 25/02/2011 15:15

Nemo has just head butted me in the mouth and split my lip.

OUCHY!

Jazzie - me too! Scroungers are the lowest.

Bitter - how's you head? Grin
