I'm due to have an abalation soon and was wondering if anyone has had this done.

I have it but not had the abalation.

ruby...do you take any medication for it? How do you cope with it all? My episodes have been getting more frequent so I've been advised to have an abalation which should cure it completely. I'm worried though......

I had a few episodes when I was pregnant and had a couple after but not had anything for about 4 months.

The last couple of occasions I've managed to stop it myself. I don't take any medication.

I was advised to have an abalation too but decided not to and to see whether I could cope and seem to be ok.

What about you? How regular are they? Are you able to stop them yourself?

I had my first episode a few years ago and then I've had a few others since that I've managed to stop them without medication. But they have got more frequent which is a common thing to happen.

Unfortunately I've had a few A&E admissions

I've been advised to have an abalation, which is a good idea really, but I don't know anyone who has had this done.

It sounds like yours are not bothering you .....could it have been your pregancy that brought them about?
