Silver, Leonie and other well-informed sort:s: what did you think of the pathologists' story?

The three pathologists who complain that the police have sought to undermine their evidence in infant death cases by making complaints to their profesional bodies and the GMC.

The three question the orthdoxy on shaken baby syndrome, that a certain three presentations ALWAYS indicate abuse or non accidental injury.

They don't even, so far as I can see, bring vaccines into it -- they just say, you know what, it might not be the parents every time.

Somebody must be very, very determined that this abuse diagnosis is never questioned.

and there's nothing on the bbc website

Silver I just wanted to "alert" you as it were don't worry you are SO busy.

You have hit the nail on the head.

The police even instigated GMC inquiries I think.

The Royal College is standing up for them much in the way that Wakefields body did for him, whatever it was RS of Gastroenterologists making him a Fellow.

I think this sort of thing must terrify researchers. No wonder everybody nods heads and nobody ever rocks the boat.

no, no, thanks for the alert Smile

fascinating (in a horrifying way) stuff though
