Warfarin and bleeding

I have been on warfarin for 7 months now (blood still not thin enough Sad)
And i have been having a period since 15th December.
I am actually getting sore from using sanitary towels, not to mention exhausted .And not bleeding enough for tampons. I mentioned it to the doctor and she didn't say a word about it.
But on the warfarin packs it says to inform your doc if you have irregular menstrual bleeding.

What do i do now?

Oh - I have jusrt reviewed your OP and you have had 7 months! There is no sensible reason for that.

If you are not under the care of a haematologist, you should be, if you have proven thrombophilia.

CFAW - Sad so sorry to hear about your little boy - that's so sad

3littlefrogs - thanks for that, will get back to the doc and be a bit more assertive about asking for a screening. would love to get pg again and have another one but this is one of the reasons i keep getting cold feet about having one, it's a scary prospect. especially as i am 41 and overweight and had pre-eclampsia first time round plus live in a place with notoriously poor maternity service - and the way I have experienced they have been very dismissive of the dvt and it's subsequent management (I was kept on warfarin for nearly a year as they had so many problems trying to keep my INR up - even had to go back onto heparin injections as my INR kept going so low and they were so bad at managing it.

CFAW - do you mind me asking seeing as you like me took warfarin post natally - did it make you put on lots of weight? i was breastfeeding while I took it - have ended up putting on lots of weight that I still haven't shifted, can't blame it on baby weight as I'd got down to within a couple of kgs of pre-baby weight by the time I started taking the tabs.
