I will sound like a right wimp here but im in agony, for 2 days i have had a ulcerated feeling stingy pain around my (just googled the name) lower labial fulcrum which is the thingy that attaches my lower gum to my lip. Anyhow it looks a bit red so perhaps i have caught it or something but today it has hurt more than anything unbearably. Just looked now and i can see a teeny tiny ulcer on it and possibly another one to the left of it on the hard gum. I have rinsed with corsodyl about half an hour ago and gotten no relief other than now my tongur tingles and tastes orrible. Any ideas what else i can do that will make a difference? Supposed to be going for a birthday chinese tomoorow Sad. Corsodyl says rinse 2 a day, could i again at bed time then in the morning or will it turn my teeth black ? I have convinced myself i have mouth cancer obviously. i dont smoke and dont eat sweets though went to town on fruit gums on wednesday and i brush my teeth 2 a day with my sonic toothbrush. Blush

Frenum.

You have probably traumatised it with something, don't worry too much. Mouth cancer almost always isn't painful which is why people don't realise they have it and present really late.

Corsodyl is good, as is hot salt water. Corsodyl will stain your teeth though so don't go overboard and remember it doesn't mix with toothpaste (they cancel each other out) so I would prob use it mid morn and mid aft.

I bet (a small sum!!) it will be feeling a tonne better by Weds.
