Prolapse

After putting up with my prolapse for over three years I went back to the Gynae last Thursday and he diagnosed a grade 2 bladder prolapse and has referred me for surgery. The wait is apparently 2 to 3 months for this.

He has not referred me for urodynamics tests. Is this right? I do not have any stress incontinence so could this be why?
Also does anyone have any experience of this op please. I would like to know what happens while you are in hospital. He said it would be a GA and I would be in for 2 to 3 days. tia.

have you tried physio as an option first? has this been offered to you? my mum had the same as well as an internal cystitus, which was cured with diet. she had a number of detailed 1-2-1 physion sessions, it took longer but she did not want the op as she is a full time carer for step dad with ms. she aso changed he diet to more fibre so less straining! She has also had 2 previous ops and was worried about scar tissue.

Hello carocaro. It was suggested that physio would not correct it although I do try to keep up with my pf exercises.
