Help don't really want to bother my doctor but need to know if this is normal.I have a milky discharge from both nipples but I had my last baby 5 yrs ago.Does this sound normal?

I began lactating at puberty and have done so ever since. Not loads like when you are breast feeding, but just a drop or two if I squeeze them.

Go to your doctor. Any discharge from the nipples should be investigated. It really is worth a trip to the GP.

I really mean it. Any change in your breasts should mean a trip to the GP. Make an appointment tomorrow.

BTW are you on the Pill? It could be linked to that.

Hi Aloha,I have a coil since last year. There's enough to soak a two inch square of my nightie.I get it every night now.I don't notice it during the day because my bra is padded. It seems a lot don't you think.
Thanks Janstar, perhaps it is just lactation.

All the same, Aloha is right, you should get it checked. I just didn't want you to be panicked like I was when I first noticed mine at age 15 - I fainted.

You must have been so worried Janstar, you were only a young thing.I'm guessing from the lack of responses here that it's not very common so perhaps I better scoot off to the doctor.
