Look away now if squemish.

I have adult acne. I now have a huge spot on the side of my cliterous. It has been there for six weeks. We're supposed to be TTC which strangely has been on hold.

I'm also not entirely keen on putting benzoyl peroxide down there.

Any ideas? Please?

Squeeze it Grin

I mean you would if it was on your chin, why not the clit??

StuckinTheMiddlewithYou · 30/01/2011 21:09

I have, daily! It just keeps coming back.

sudocrem - big big dollops

PussinJimmyChoos · 30/01/2011 21:12

Oh...trip to the drs then if it keeps coming back....

RenniesFromHeaven · 30/01/2011 21:13

Um... six weeks sounds like a long time even for a bad one - sure it's not an infected hair follicle?

Aonach · 30/01/2011 21:20

Trip to doctors, you need an oral antibiotic. Get it checked out sooner rather than later as it could become an abcess.

IngridBergmann · 30/01/2011 21:24

Could be a cyst if it keeps coming back.

Go to the doc. They can probably reassure you at least.

StuckinTheMiddlewithYou · 30/01/2011 21:36

Cyst? Abcess?

Shock

Oh well, I was going to complain about acne in general this week. I've been waiting three months for a dermatology appoinment.

May try the sudocream though.

Tell dermatologist you are TTC when you go.

A1980 · 30/01/2011 21:47

Is it actaully on the clitoris itself or is it on the skin around it?

dearprudence · 30/01/2011 21:48

Six weeks? Yes, doctors.

TheMonster · 30/01/2011 21:49

It may well be a cyst. If I were you, I would pop it with a needle and put TCP on it, but I am stupid and wouldn't want to show a doctor.

StuckinTheMiddlewithYou · 30/01/2011 21:50

I think it's the skin. It's "mobile" if that's what you mean.

And... drips yellow puss. Sorry, I know this is disgusting.

OP posts:
TheMonster · 30/01/2011 21:51

Sounds like a cyst and that squeezing it has opened it. Squeeze as much out as you can and put TCP on it. It'll probably sting like hell though!

drinkyourmilk · 30/01/2011 21:52

That sounds absess like to me. I'd go to the doc.

BoffinMum · 30/01/2011 21:54

I would leave it alone, put sudocrem on it, put a mylin dressing over the top and see the doc PDQ tomorrow

BoffinMum · 30/01/2011 21:55

Really hate to say it but you may have an STD, so worth seeking medical attention.

Ok, you've convinced me. I'll try TCP or sudocream and if no results will tell the doc.

cheers ladies.

Bearcrumble, grow up or shut up.

If it makes you feel any better, once you do conceive and give birth, chances are you will lose all inhibitions about showing a dr any problems down there! Grin just as well get over yourself now....

OhKit · 30/01/2011 22:00

I had the exact same thing, in the exact same place! Mine happened after a bikini wax though so I think something was 'disrupted'. I kept squeezing it out of morbid curiosity until I realised that this was preventing it from healing, I left it alone and it went away quite quickly. I would leave it alone but keep an eye on it, if it gets worse then I would suggest seeing a gp.

Bearcrumble · 30/01/2011 22:03

Sorry. I hope you get it sorted.

It was more the thing about squeezing it every day (and the dripping) than the fact you have it.

I'm not judging.

ilovemyhens · 30/01/2011 22:10

Magnesium Sulphate paste. You buy it at the chemists and it draws pus out.
