Started feel low on Monday. Gland came up on right side. By Wednesday could see white spots on the tonsil and it was huge. A little sore with ear ache and very painful to swollow.

Thursday started to get a little discomfort in the left ear. Yesterday hit low felt awful with right side of throat feeling less sore but the left side starting to hurt. By the evening most of the pain had moved totally from right to left. This morning was feeling much better the gland on the right side had returned to it's normal size and no spots on the tonsil. The left on the other hand is very swollen (neck and tonsil). Plus a sore ear but throat not a painfully as the right was. But what's happening is I'm struggling to open my jaw.

I've had quinsy a few years back remember it been very very painfully but also the only time I've had problem opening my jaw. Am I been pariniod?

No - go to A&E!
If you have had quinsy before you are more likely to get it again. The symptoms you describe could well be quinsy and if you can't even manage to swallow sips of water or your own saliva then you definitely need to get seen ASAP. Have a look in the mirror - if one side of the soft palate (the back of the roof of your mouth) is swollen or if the uvula (the dangly bit!) seems displaced to one side then you definitely have quinsy.
Quinsy is dangerous and potentially life-threatening if it starts to compromise your airway.
Trust me - go to A&E, tell them the symptoms you have now and that you have had quinsy in the past and they shouldn't give you a hard time for coming up.

That the thing can swallow easily except for it been a little painfully but no worse then I'd normally get with a sore throat. From what I can see the tonsil is large but not quite as big that it's touching the uvula. About the same size as the other tonsil was 3 days ago but with out the white spots. No fever just feeling tried and a little under the weather.

Thanks hoomach been to local hospital to get my throat seen to. I've caught it just in time, it's not yet quinsy but they would not just leave it as it's heading towards quinsy. So I now have a course of 2 antibiotics. So thanks
