Ds has bumped his head on the side of the kitchen work surface. Looks like it could be a deepish cut it has blood around it a trickle of blood from it but it has all dried and I haven't had to dab it at all.

Am wondering weather to get it checked out or not, he seems fine in himself, says it hurts when he lies on it.

Have no idea if I should do anything about it. Thanks

Is he bleeding from his ear?

How old is he?

I think if your head is bleeding you should get it looked at.

DS2 did this yesterday, and we took him to a+e. He had to have the cut glued.

i would just keep an eye on him.

ds1 did a similar thing and as it had dried up by the time they saw it they were happy to leave it

Yes keeping an eye on it. A&E is full of swine flu cases my friend told me as has been there recently with daughter so am eager not to go if possible.

Should add DS had more than a trickle of blood. It was more spurting

gemitygem · 27/01/2011 13:29

I think he should be ok then. def no more than a trickle of blood.
