Is it possible to have 4 tonsils?

I am suffering with tonsilitis . When I look at my throat I can see the two infected tonsils, but behind them are two, smaller protuberances which are also covered in puss (TMI - sorry). Any ideas?

I think, but can't be arsed to google, that tonsils are lobular so it could easily appear to be four. Why don't you go to your GP?

Well I get tonsilitis quite often and they don't give you anything for it unless you don't shake it off. I've never noticed these 'other tonsils' before though. I know what you mean about them being lobular, but these are very separate.
