I have concussion - when should I return to work?

I got injured at work yesterday, resulting in mild concussion (no loss of consciousness, just very dazed, drowsy and nauseous). A&E Dr said to take it easy for a few days, sleep, rest etc.

Work told me to stay off today, so I did and have slept for 4 hrs but I should really go back tomorrow. I am not sure if I'll still be sleepy or what. WWYD?

Thank you. Will see how today goes. Yesterday I felt awful. Work are being understanding so I'll decide about tomorrow later

Agree with pippop. Go back on monday. How did it happen?

Thanks belgo. I was kicked. I don't want people to think I am being dramatic and milking it.

Have namechanged (obviously) just in case.

Gosh poor you. Don't worry about what other people think. You need to recover fully before going back to work.

I dropped a shower head on my head (it fell out of the holder when I was wiping it dry after the shower). It made me feel v dizzy for a few hours and have a bit of a headache. I don't know if that was concussion but I needed a couple of days to "come to".

It was quite funny though.
