A friend went into hospital on Thursday to have a break in her leg fused with natural coral. It's experimental surgery and if it goes wrong she will have to have her lag amputated. She also has a bone disease that complicates things (which is why she's a candidate for this as the break wasn't healing).
Does anyone know of anyone else who has had this done?
