And do you ever experience numbness in your leg/arm? I've been told I suffer non headache migraines and get this symptom but it can last days

I get headaches but also get the numbness. I know it's wearing off when it changes to a tingle. It is rubbish having any of the symptoms but at least you don't have the headache to go with the numbness. Don't know if there's anything you can get for non pain, non nausea symptoms.

I don;'t have the numbness, but I know that if I don't go to bed in a dark rrom as soon as it hits, I will be sick, I know the signs now, so take some painkillers and then go to bed, sometimes they last hours, and when I wake up in the morning I feel like I have hit round the head.

CuriousMama.. i get a numbness and feeling of pins and needles in both my arms but it lasts for hours rather than days. I also get an aching jaw and i can barely open my mouth.
I suffered with aborted migraines when i was a child so i had all the symptoms.. ie, the flashing lights, tunnel vision, nausea and aching joints but didn't get the headache. Now i'm just lucky enough to get the full whack!
Are you able to take medication for this?

thanks for the replies. I think what I am suffering from is migraine and sinus problems and am beginning to think the two can be related? That's probably why it's lasting so long.

I've tried beechams sinus tablets and they work to some degree as they're good for headaches too. Think I need to mention this numbness to the doc though?
