Anyone tried to get Mercilon recently?

Doc prescribed it Mon, have been to 4 chemists and apparently it's long-term out of stock, whatever that means. Anyone know anything?

I was reading about this in the paper - the top four brands of pills have been in v short supply recently - they are trying to make them but didn't for a few months so they have run out everywhere.

You may have to switch brands I'm afraid. Though they did say it's getting better in most areas. I believe you can ask Boots to do an inter-pharmacy order from somewhere in the country that does have some but it takes a few days.

I was lucky and got my cerazette prescribed before christmas. I got the last packs in the chemist so anyone in after me would have been out of luck.
