when should my milk go

i breastfed dd1, found out i was pregnant whilst still breastfeeding dd1. i breastfed dd2 and we stopped in january of this year but i've still gor milk. when does it stop

I stopped in April (second child) and can still get a small amount from one side so I don't know the answer I'm afraid.
