The kid stinks of cabbage...

My lovely 14wk ds that is. He's being trumping away like a good 'un the last few days and it's well wiffy.

The thing is his poo has disappeared - he went 5 days before he finally went this week. (thought he was going to explode). Disappointingly small and less fluidy than his normal bf poo-poo. He used to do a daily humdinger - which was great! Now just waiting for 'there she blows' scenario - got to come soon, surely? He really will explode otherwise.

I miss his poo's . Anyone else had the same? How do you get the poo to come back...so the stinky ass disappears?!

hi mandymac (weren't you a member of passive birth???? }

The WORST thing ever, is when you pull the trumpers to one side to check what you THINK is a fart and find, no, it's a display of piccalilly, and what's more, it's now on your finger.

So then you hold the finger out until you get to the sink, all the while pulling a face like Vanessa Feltz (why is she always wrinkling her nose? She ain't never smelt THIS baby's ass)

THATs when you know you were supposed to have been upper class, cos then you would have a nanny to deal with such outrages

Why do I suspect this thread is going to be a long one? By the way Serah, I also misread your name as Serah's carer. I know you are loony bonkers, thought the authorities had finally found out

mogwai · 11/10/2005 08:58

anyway, I think mogwai suits me much better

mandymac · 11/10/2005 09:08

Mogwai - yes I think it definately suits you better! Although you have my support for the reasons you changed it - I thought that was all a bit mean .

I missed out on the passive birth thread, but joined in the subsequent passive parenting one - could it be time for an update on that thread? . Now that the los are a bit older, we must have come up with new and inventive ways to cut corners.

ROFL at pulling aside leg of 'trumpers'. Its like a game of chance - hang on no, its like russian roulette - Will this be the live one? I have to say, I am getting quite good a guessing, but still get the odd unpleasant surprise.

hocuspocusdiplodocus · 11/10/2005 10:19

Thanks for explaining the link - don't think I would ever have got from swizzles to stephone via Matlock myself...

mogwai · 11/10/2005 11:12

I have something of a diagonal thought process, agree the name change would have been a bit cryptic! Poor old stephone, I did think she was lovely and loved imitating her writing styleeee

I usually KNOW when the trumpers are contaminated, you know, seal off exclusion zone around baby with red and white stripey tape and call the baby police (daddy )

But sometimes she takes me by surprise, no grunting, no straining, just a mysterious crime scene with no fingerprints

mandymac · 11/10/2005 11:17

I find the more fuss (groaning and straining noises) the less the evidence. Her farts are phenominally loud - they vibrate my hand if its on her bum area. Her poos are silent but deadly. Another favourite of mine is the cough and simulanious fart and the surprised look she gets when that happens - usually when she is choking on the bones in the milk .

I had IBS, so dh already thought poo was a hobby of mine, now he is convinced!

hocuspocusdiplodocus · 11/10/2005 11:22

Heh heh. My DS3 is 14 months and teething. Ladies, it gets much worse ...

serahscarer · 11/10/2005 14:13

Bad Dinosaur.... BAD Dinosaur!!!

PS I prefer Mogwai too if we can put this to a vote??

SerahScarer · 11/10/2005 14:16

And to avoid any further confusion as to whether I have actually been institutionalised or not, I have made a couple of subtle changes to my name

mogwai · 11/10/2005 18:38

ah yes, that makes sense now...but you could see why we were confused and thought you had full-time carers?? It's just a matter of time for both of us now, will be sectioned within the year, I should think

Has anyone's baby ever exploded? I'm talking the sneeze/fart/poo/vomit and vomit coming down the nose ensemble. It's quite a party piece

SerahScarer · 11/10/2005 20:40

Remind me not to invite you to any parties then

mogwai · 11/10/2005 20:50

where's spikey? She starts this disgusting thread then parps off

SpikeMomma · 12/10/2005 20:55

WHY I'M RIGHT HEEEEEEERE! hello my little mogs (swizzles smizzles and all that). I leave my keyboard for 5 mins - and miss the banter.

Well, all is safe on the crapping front. The cabbage smell has gone and the offensive poo has gone from brown - to green - back to yellow. That's my boys - not mine.

It took him nearly 7 days to parp his tubes clean, thought he was going to explode - even checked his butt hole to see if he had sealed up

OP posts:
mandymac · 12/10/2005 21:09

Hmmmmmmm - no fair, dd is pooing every 3 days or so, but no change in whiffiness here. The vile noxious farts just start straight up again. . We've left her to it in our room and myself and dh are now kipping in the nursery . (Actually this is more to do with us waking her up, but I won't be missing the stench thats for sure!) [Grin].

mandymac · 12/10/2005 21:12

How embarrassing my appears to have broken

mogwai · 13/10/2005 07:41

and was it a whiffy little bumhole, spikey?

mandymac · 14/10/2005 16:25

OK ladies - we have gone from a drought to a flood chez mac. 3 yes count them 3 stinky poos in one day. Is dd reverting to a newborn - or even worse, is it the start of the dreaded teething . Buggering hell I hope not!

mogwai · 14/10/2005 19:43

it was a little present! Specially for you! And all wrapped up as well. Your child is obviously a poo genius

SpikeMomma · 16/10/2005 20:01

oh it was a wiffy little bum hole and half!

pleeease don't tell me it's all going to go back to wiffsville once teething starts. I've just got the delicate poo back again!

OP posts:
SerahScarer · 16/10/2005 20:10

Nope. It will be splatsville and sore red bum when the teething starts

theres a thread with your name on it by the way.

SpikeMomma · 16/10/2005 21:04

yey hey serah werah - we've arrived! just posted. x
