Why am I ALWAYS cold?

Today I'm wearing jeans, a thermal vest, long sleeved tight cotton top, thin(ish) wool wrap over cardigan and another jumper on top (dh's). I'm still cold. It's bloody ridiculous. Is there anything I can do about it?

yes, you can go and ask for a thyroid level test

do you have any other symptoms?
tireness
weight gain
irregular periods
coarse skin
hair loss
numbness and muscle weakness
etc etc

or it could be you need to turn the heating up Smile

LOL! Heating seems to be fine for everyone else Blush I don't have any of the other symptoms (unfortunately weight gain seems to be directly linked to chocolate consumption Wink) apart from tiredness but I think that's just due to life! Periods are non-existant because I have the mirena coil so I wouldn't know if they were reg or not. Are those all symptoms of over active or underactive thyroid?

I agree, get Thyroid test. Other symptomm is chronic constipation - I had it investigated and have just had test and found to have hypo(underactive)thyroidism. Have suffered what I thought was Reynauds (frozen fingers) in hands for a while, dry skin, cracked nails, thin hair etc (put it down to chemo but that was 3 years ago) so about to start the tabs soon. Simple blood test will reassure you.
