verucca advice - using Verrugon 50% salycilic acid

Please read the background, and my question is at the end!!

I have a big old verucca on the ball of my foot near my toes, and one in between my little toe and the one next to it - and a small one on the next toe where it's touched.

Tried: banana skin, duct tape, bazooka gel, home freezing, doctor freezing, digging it out - nothing worked.

During last week did lots of googling and found a paste with 50% salycilic acid - Verrugon - ordered off internet, - it works!

My veruccae are all getting much smaller (big one not so fast but improved).

My question is:
The one on my toe - it is down to red (presumably flesh) in the middle, but there is still white hard stuff around the perimeter - shall i keep putting the paste around just the edge and see what happens, or shall i put it all over? It does hurt to touch or bump, and periodically hurts during the day where i am thinking - oh its burning it away.

What shall i do?

I guess i mean - how do you know when to stop applying the product?

When it looks completely normal again, or when the middle has gone to flesh and it is just far too painful to keep applying it.

I am getting my veruccae treated at a clinic (didn't have much luck at home).
It is taking months of treatment.
Every 2 weeks, clinician trims the dead (white) skin back and applies the most paste right in the middle.
Then bandage up (keep dry for 24 hours).
Mine will need at least several more goes, DD's are going faster.

My friend had a V for 30 years before resorting to the same clinic (mine are only about 12 years old), but friend's are finally gone.
hth.

Had mine for about 9 years.
I dont know whether to keep putting paste on the bit that is red on the small(er) one or jsut round the edge - they bloody hurt dont they!
Good luck with yours anyway!

I had one for five years, kept putting the potions on..nothing. Then over Xmas I had a hideous virus and the other day I noticed it has gone, jst disappeared!
