Endometriosis

I have had Endometriosis since 2003. It was on my left ovary. I had it treated via laparoscopy in 2004. It took 2 years for my husband & I to concieve our daughter after the treatment. We purposefully concieved my son 10 months after my daughter was born, before the Endometriosis took hold again. I have been diagnosed again this week. I have an Endometrioma, (blood filled cyst approx 2.5cm), in circumference inside my left ovary. This is consistant with Endometriosis. It is fairly painfull at times, i cannot over exert myself. (It is not as painfull as the time before). I am awaiting a GP appointment for next week. Because the cyst is located within my ovary would this mean that I may have to lose some the whole of my left ovary? Are there any ladies out there with this kind of experience that can give me some advice please?

i should add that both of my children were delivere via c-section in 2007 & 2010. (I don't know, but this may have some bearing on my condition). I am also on a number of medications; prozac, diazapam, codiene & ibruprofen, (I suffer sciatica, depression & anxiety). Does anybody know if the anesthetic could be risky bearing this in mind?
