If you have,I feel for you.

Mine reared it's ugly and annoying head after a bout of flu last week.

Am on anti-b's for a chest infection but I can't sort this damn cough.I'm literally having coughing fits every 30 mins which make me urge.It dry and tickly but you feel like you've got something stuck in your lungs?! This is day 5.

GP said no cough medicines will help and just to wait for the anti-b's to kick in.

I cannot talk much as it triggers off the irritation (dh is pleased Hmm)

Am sick of myself coughing Angry.

My Dh has a most annoying cough at the moment. He caught it on the way back from Australia on the plane (he thinks). He'd been to watch cricket with my son. It's waking him up at night and he got back on 31st Dec so it's been too long now.

I have suggested he goes to see the GP but apparently he's "not ill with it".

have you got a salbutomol inhaler?

I don't have asthma but I find asthma medication helps when I am kicking a cough. Took a steroid inhaler the last time i had a cold, as what always happens is, the cold lasts 5 days and i carry on coughing for 6 weeks afterwards (unless I use asthma inhalers)

Yeah, I've got a Ventolin inhaler Valium.I always get wheezy with coughs and I do find they help with the night-time tightness.

Pippop-make him go! I know how annoying my cough is.Am reading that steam should help too.
