Virus with tiredness/headache?

Dd seems to have this - am maybe being a bit over cautious as there's been a meningitis case at school (she's 15). Has no rash, hands not cold, not floppy. Just wondering if anyone else has similar?

My DD(12) had recurring (v painful) headaches and was very tired and tearful. No fever, mild sore throat eventually diagnosed with Glandular Fever. Your doc needs to do a blood test to confirm it. She had got it around June and it wasn't confirmed till September as I thought it was to do with hormones. The doc had suggested it but I said no she would be really tired if she had that when I saw her again the week after I said okay test her and it was confirmed. Felt very guilty. Anyway, fingers crossed it's not but keep it in mind if symptoms continue. HTH

We're off to doctor tomorrow - hope your dd's OK now. Tbh, part of me thinks she's faking a bit, but I'm always like that!
