Am posting on here rather than childs as ds is 14 now and so need adults advice but any advice welcome

Ds2 has had on and of for a long time problems with his bowls.Loose stools passing muscus struggle to put on weight

He was refered to gastro who carried out endscophy and colonscopy.Which did show some changes but not enough to give definte confirmation

Did show he had Helicobacter pylori which hes had 2 lots of treatment for .With gastros help took ds of wheat for trail then back on and was definte differance Ds was going 12-14 times a day .So restrted wheat free .

Were due back to gastro team and they said last time they might need to carry out some more tests. As it is still looose and jelly mucus is passed quite often( he sometimes just breaks wind and itpasses

Any tips adviceplease

should add that the only time ds2 ever saw inprovement was when on high dose of oral steroids for his Astham he did have a 7 week course few months ago and he did get some improvement but as dose went down the Diarrhea increased .

He loosk tired is very thin despite eating loads and he is advoiding eating at school i know as i called school to ask about wheat and they said well he does not ofetn eat .so I tackled him and he says not eating at school as he worys about having accident and at 14 hard thing to do

Oh and should add its pretty probable that has Raunauds to as his hands turn purple and numb despite wearing heated gloves .In fact so bad he is no longer allowed to do outdoorPe atm .School was the one who said that after 10 minute soutdoors last time turned hands black and he wa unable to do shirt buttons up for 10 minutes
