Feeling run down, heavy period etc

hello, am feeling very under the weather

Got a very heavy period and feeling washed out
Sore tummy
Went to sleep with a spot about a cm below my lip and woken up with half my lip completely swollen and looking grim and completely asymmetrical!
Think my glands are up

Lovely dh has taken the dds out this morning so can rest a bit but does anyone have any tips on anything i should eat or take to make me feel better? Big fat steak? I feel so fun down and flabby and grim but the idea of exercising - just feel really weak.

I been feeling like that over last few months and I also posted on MN and got some useful answers, just more vitamin c and someone told me zinc.
I have been feeling better on the whole but trying to get rest when you can and getting enough sleep does help too.
It is good you have a good dh to take your dds out, so maybe he could do this to give you a break more often.
I have been drinking more orange juice and trying to eat better, but when you feel tired last thing you want to do is exercise :( but that is my next step.Getting myself motivated again.
Exercise does help if you can be bothered Grin

I will try and do some gentle exercise tomorrow

Last week i had awful thrush which took two pessaries a tablet and cream to get rid of.

Will get some vit c and zinc. Will look and see some foods that contain zinc

I hate thrush, seems like a good idea. Try and do gentle things and build up, sometimes it takes a while to get back to your old self.
