Got into bad habits recently 1 to 3 glasses of vino 5 nights a week with only 2 nights off. After delayed start and going booze free til end of month and trying to drink loads of water and eat healthily.

Only on day 3 but feel like crap! Woozy, spaced out and foggy headed, how long til I feel alert and energetic again, that's the whole point!!?

It might be worth posting here

Lots of support and most of the people can answer any question you can throw their way.

In answer to your OP, day 4/5 is usually when you can sleep without being drenched in sweat, jitters, vivid dreams etc.

Your skin will look brighter, clearer, you'll feel lighter, happier and healthier, usually around day 10.

Plenty of water, and try a small snack before bed which helps to stop the 3am wide awake bllod sugar dip.

Treat yourself to some nice soft drinks, something in a tall glass, ice and a slice. Makes it more of a 'drink'

Cranberry, lime and soda/tonic/lemonade is nice or fresh orange and tonic etc might be good too.

Hot chocolate made with milk will help you relax. Try and take some time out before bed to switch your head off.

Good luck x
