Flu or a cold?

Hi I posted on here last week asking if I should take my ten week old baby to groups with swine flu flying around. Anyway i decided to make the decision to get out and about and meet other mums and it was lovely..did the same this week.

Now the bad bit...the last 2 days Ive been sneezing and am full of what feels like a cold. I kinda expected this as not mingled with others for quite some time. Baby also sneezing but seems happy and is drinking all feeds.

Im so bloody paranoid about this swine flu and wont be attending groups till I feel better. Do u think its just a cold or does swine flu start like this? Ive no temp. Just bit tired and 'full of it'

Doesnt help that I watched a funeral car pass my home (little village) with a 50 yr old neighbour who died last week of SF! Very sad.

Just treat it as a cold unless you start feeling worse and even then just tru to rest and take plenty of fluids. People can get flu mildly too and 1/3 of flu cases have no symptoms at all.

Probably a cold. Flu comes on quite suddenly.

Thanku for your reassurance. I do think its just a cold otherwise Im sure id be in bed by now and instead im happy watching tv and on MN.

Just hate sneezing all over baby. I dont do it intentionally its just I seem to sneeze every five mins and feeding him is a nightmare. Got DH to do it tonight but little one didnt settle well without mummy cuddles.

Thanks again! Being a new mum is worrying sometimes.xxx
