DD had her 8 wk jabs this morning and the sites of both injections have been covered with cotton wool and white sticky tape. does anyone have any tips on how to get the sticky tape off without hurting her?

thank you!

soak in water? maybe in the bath?

Twit · 13/01/2011 16:35

Yeah, I'd try a bath first.

They'll fall off after a few days.

Soak in warm soapy water and the tape will just fall off.

oh micropore tape isn't too painful anyway. i'd just take them off, she'll be fine!

Just removed a couple of plasters from DD yesterday after her vaccs. I just distracted her and tickled her a bit and did them quickly - she didn't notice. For an 8wk old can you feed and manage to co-ordinate removing them at the same time. Even if it is noticed she'll probably be happy to restart feeding and forget it.

you were all right, i soaked them a bit and distracted her and she hardly noticed - i was worrying about nothing (again:)

thank you!
