Hiya,
Had our dd 10days (ish!!) ago, and got a 19month old ds. Both me and hubby agree that we only want two children, so obviously looking at long term contraceptive.
TBH, im no good on the pill, i often forget about it!
We have been seriously thinking about sterilistation, but because of our ages (Im 23, dh is 25), our Dr has advised that not many hospitals are willing to carry out the procedure. TBH, we're not thinking about divorce or anything that is morbid!
DH is more than willing to go through with it, as its meant to be easier than for me, and as he says, we women go through the pain of labour etc, he doesnt want me to go through any more pain etc.
Can we go private for it? Or is there something that is really long term?

you sound pretty young to be considering something so final IMO. Why not give it a few years then reconsider? in the meantime there are obviously several different methods of contraception you can use.
