Anyone else have endometreosis??

I was diagnosed with having endometreosis about a year and a half ago.I got told that if it gets worse I would need to have an operation.
I currently have to take my contreception pill back to back to try and manage my syptoms of having this.
I was doing this and it did help, but now I don't even get to the end of my back of pills without having a 'bleed' or full period
Got another appointment next week to see the doctor but just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with having endometreosis?

A woman I no at work had to have an emergency hysterectomy and it really does scare me, they said if I get worse or the back to back pill does not work they may have to think about operating.
I used to think they got it wrong but now the more and more things go on I just get scared of having to deal with it!

About 10 years ago I had a laporoscopy for somethign else and the consultant said I had endometriosis. I had no symptoms at the time so it was left. I now have terrible heavy, painful periods. And pain inbetween my periods as well.

I was sterilised 8 years ago so have no need for all my bits. I'm hoping for a hysterectomy. I won't take the pill as it turns me into a psycho, hence why I got sterilised. I should be seeing the consultant soon to talk to him about options.

Ok verity I may mention the injection to my doctor see what he says, the thought of operations makes me scared :(

Viva- I am the same on the pill so they put me on a low hormone one, which is why I am wondering if it is the pill or my endo!I guess the best thing to do is go back my doctors, I just didn't think it would get worse that quick!
