Small pea size lump on knee

My knee started hurting last week, yesterday when I rubbed it I noticed a small lump on it about the size of a pea. You can move it a little bit so I dont think it is bone. It is also sore to touch. Any ideas?

Anyone I am worrying it is a tumour. My dd has had a lot of health stuff goin on lately and think i am thinking the worst of everything.

Moveable and sore sounds good, but not very sure what it could be...a small cyst? A ganglion? Go and see your GP and have your mind put at rest, it really doesn't sound much like a tumour
