hi ya
just wondered if anyone's child suffers from this?

if so what help and support do u get

Matthew is 15 months and has sleep apnea

anyone help or advice would b great

My Sil had an episode with her LO (4 months) a few weeks ago - though the doc isn't sure if its apnea or breath holding yet. Its terrifying. She's now got one of those mattresses (Angel something) that set of an alarm if there is no movement for 20 secs. It must be pretty scary for you.

yes we have the angel care alarm we have had it 8 months and its gone off over 200 times with only about 10 of them being false alarms

on the 5th oct matthew had a ALTE and was in hosp for 9 days
GOSH thought hes reflux was causing the apnoeas but they have now dx him as having central sleep apnoea (which means the brain isnt sending him messages to breathe)

we r waiting to go bk for more tests including a MRI under GA

does anyone have a child which this condition?
