Please recommend me a thermometer

We have a cheapie ear one that is unreliable and it needs to go!
Ideally it would be suitable for all ages and easy to use.

We have the Braun Thermoscan which all the gps and hv seem to use. We bought it 7 years ago when we had dd1 and we are still using the same one 7 years later for our dts. The battery life is excellent and it has proven to be very reliable. I think it was £35 seven years ago but worth every penny.
