How do you exercise your pelvic floor again?

I've got a cold (like everyone else) and I woke up in the early hours coughing my head off as usual. To my shame I think I may have weed myself a bit.Blush

I've had 2 children both by emcs and haven't had a problem before, so how are these exercises supposed to go? I remember something about a lift. Confused

You're meant to clench the muscles as though you are trying to stop the flow of urine. I've heard the best way to sort of recognise where the muscles are is to actually try to stop when you are going to the toilet, just so you know what it feels like when the right muscles are engaged.

Of course if I was any good at this I wouldn't be a Tena Lady right now!

I do one where you lie on your back knees bent up, spine in a neutral position, and then pull up your pelvic floor muscles imagining you are going up in a lift. So floor one clench, floor 2 clench a bit more and so on up to about six, then come down in the lift releasing a little at a time for each floor. Do it slowly and controlled.
