Is there a 'dizzy' bug going around?

For the last week I've felt very dizzy ( nearly frill over serving Christmas dinner!). I've had a bit of sinus discomfort but no where near as bad as I've had in the past. Im a bit sore behind my ears and my throat has a bit if catarrh but again nothing much. It's just the damn dizziness that won't shift. Anyone else had something similar? I'm off to Docs tomorrow for help but would welcome comments as to duration/advice from anyone who's suffered similarly recently.

We have all had that horrid cold/cough that is doing the rounds. My dd was worse though and she complained of sore ears and dizzyness, a couple of times she thought she was going to keel over. She has been having to sit down and rest when out too.

DD has recently been diagnosed with sinisitus and is also complaining of dizziness at times. Dh and I have flu so it may be the start of that.
