My DD is nearly 6 and she refuses point blank to take medicine. She always has, she says it is horrible. When she was younger we had to force it down her as it was the only way to make her better especially if she had a high temperature.
I no i can't force it down her now but i am stuck, does anyone no of any medicines for her age group that don't taste too bad.I have explained there are no nice medicines but still she don't care.I can't help her unless she helps herself :(

Can you cut up ordinary paracetamol tablets?

Half a 500mg paracetamol capsule is tiny and a 6 yo might be able to swallow it. It wont taste of anything if you give her a sweet drink to swallow it with?

it's worth a shot. It's not impossible that a 6 yo could swallow a tiny half capsule.
