So annoyed. Gallbladder op was due today but cancelled yesterday. Have not actually had any attacks recently but had one last night and now three today. All last 30mins to1hr. Not held down any food. Don't know what best course of action will be-docs in morn or a and e? Any thoughts?

Oh no, poor you. I'm sorry your Op was cancelled. I had my gall bladder out nearly 2 yrs ago, such a relief not to have pain anymore.
How are you feeling now? Maybe contact NHS direct? If not in pain i would probably wait until the morning to call docs.
I hope you get the op done soon.

Now gallbladder type pain has moved to a stomach pain all over nelly. Sore to touch. Unbearable when baby crawls on me. Sick when eat. Dark urine. Temp 37. 5. Gall bladder issue or something different?

Thats sounds a bit different to me. Can you or partner check your eyes, any yellowing? TBH I would be getting to doc/out of hours docs/A&E in your situation

Also agree that you need looking at today. Huge sympathy, gallbladder removal is going to be my treat for losing weight eventually, hate the flipping thing. Hope you are better very soon.

For pain during an attack drink 1/2 a glass of apple juice with 1 or 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (raw unfiltered is best) and voilá, pain is significantly diminished in about 10 mins to 30 mins.

I know this is an old post but for anyone else- dark urine after a gallbladder attack can be a sign of a stone stuck in one of the ducts. The darkness is caused by bilirubin backing up in the system.

I had this and next was grey faeces and I went yellow. Had to have an ERCP to get the stone out.

Don't know how to relieve the pain, it's horrendous isn't it. My op was cancelled twice and I ended up having an emergency one to remove the by then infected gallbladder.
