I gave birth 11 days ago and had a very tiny episiotomy. No problems since, and apparently midwifes say it is healing well.
However, I did the stupid thing of having a look down there and when I pinned back the opening to my vagina, I could see - what I think is - my cervix. Everything is all quite swollen, and it's certainly not close to the vaginal opening but I'm sure it's the cervix and I could see it.
Should I be able to see it and does this mean a prolapse? Is it too early to know?
