Hi, my ds is 9 month old and is just at the stage where he is wanting to stand up, however we have noticed that his little toe on both feet bends under his foot, and it seems to be making it uncormfortable for him to stand as it looks like all his wait is on his toe?? Is this normal to start of with or should I mention it to the doctor??

have it checked out but it does a while for the base of the foot to spread once they begin to walk.
your hv will tell you if shes handier to get to

quite normal, don't worry, it won't stop him walking.

My little toe still curls under, though not as much as it did when I was a baby, according to my Mum!

i took him to get it checked and they have referred him to the physiotherapist to get it checked out

Janbo25-My ds is 14 weeks old and has the same problem with his little toe.He also has talipes and has to wear special little boots,so his are probably worse than your ds's.We were actually told by the specialist that the little toe curling under wouldn't be a problem, but it's best to get these things checked out anyway, especially while they're still young.Let us know how he gets on.
