MMR-Slight confusion....

I have decided for my son to have the MMR singularly-but I just wanted to double check my facts first;

  1. The company who supplied the MUMPS is no longer supplying it and therefore it is not available in the UK (?)

  2. I can get rubella and measles done in the UK for about £100 each (?)

SO what do I do about MUMPSVAX? Do I go abroad or just not bother in the vain hope that everyone else has had the combined and therefore aren't a risk :P (that was a joke).

Help me out ladies. I did search the "talk" for it but some of the debates/discussions were so old it wouldn't let me open them.

Please don't reply trying to cause trouble that the MMR combined is perfectly safe, as I'm really not interested in your medical opinions! Thanks so much :) x

? Well from what I've seen of other posts that is exactly what has happened about people looking for single vaccine clinics-I don't want medical advice, just some knowledge that some women may have about the technicality of it-not the moral act of doing it.

Bumping for the OP as I'm in the same boat and also keen to get her points clarified and her MUMPSVAX question answered...
