soreness underneath (sorry if tmi)

Had unprotected sex ten days ago with bf. Now I have a very sore spot underneath. It's red, about 1cm in diameter, hurts like hell when I wee.

Was the first time we didn't use a condom, been together about a year, I regret it as I'm worried sick.

What can it be? Herpes?? Any other symptoms I should be looking out for?

Could it just be a reaction to a wax I had about a fortnight ago?

What should I do?

Please, don't tell me I was stupid to not use a condom, I know this

If it was something to worry about, would it have taken about ten days to appear as this soreness? Only started hurting this morning.
