Is this anything to be worried about?

I just came over feeling very sick and out of it. Earlier in the week I would feel very dizzy for a bit when standing up.

had it been a while since you ate anything? Maybe low blood sugar

theagedparent · 12/12/2010 16:06

Pregnant?

ledodgy · 12/12/2010 16:07

Or it maybe an inner ear infection?

electra · 12/12/2010 16:07

It sounds like low blood pressure - do you have that?

TrinityMotherOfRhinos · 12/12/2010 16:12

I dont thin its anything to worry about (and remember that I am not a prefessional)

it could be a horrid cold bug (that I have just had when I would feel alternately sick, dizzy, manky, freezing cold, roasting hot, snotty)

inner infection

pregnant?

low blood sugar

stress

or other things that aren't a huge worry
I would keep an eye on it and maybe see a doctor if it doesn't become apparent what it is

The dizzy when standing thing often comes with low blood pressure - which is obviously much better than a high, but it's a pain in the neck. The sickness could just be a coincidental bug.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.

I think I do have low blood pressure.

My period is slightly over due but I am talking hours not days so shouldn't be that.

I have had a really good day but do have a stressful week ahead though tbh have been trying not to think about it.

I have low blood pressure too and sometimes the effect is that I start to feel really dizzy and sick while doing something, or my eyes cloud over when I stand up. It's very unpleasant.

electra · 13/12/2010 10:49

ps it's worse when pregnant

nellieisstilltired · 13/12/2010 10:51

have you just had a cold or other virus?
if so I would suggest Labyrinthitis.
