UTIs - is it?

Is it possible to have a UTI that goes on for weeks/months?

I keep needing to wee, go to wee, but then straight after feel like Im not finished/desperate to go again, although all the wee is gone. Pelvic floor area feels quite weak generally as well. (have 2 kids but not recently and Ive never had a vaginal birth)

It doesnt hurt or ache as such, but feels like Im desperate to wee again / irritated. Its definitely worse after sex.

I know its not cystitis as Ive had that before and I know how painful it is.

No other symptoms of note... Just needing to wee a lot really.

DO I need a Dr? (hate going to Dr unless properly ill)

Thank you!!!

you need to see a dr as there are so many possible reasons, most minor, but others need ruling out soon

hope you get an answer

i had this after my son was born. cant remember the proper name of it but my bladder just went a bit spastic.

the solution was one weak antidepresent before bed every night, apparently its a side effect of them but it worked a treat although i did have to take them for about 6 months.
