I have now managed to, ahem, stop adding to my current weight, so I'm just going to sit the winter out.

Come the New Year, I'm kicking ass. As I am sure the other LIGHTer ladies will be too.

Maybe. Hopefully. If I can convince them too.

luckily i have no appetite in the morning so i'm not jealous

i also just faced the scales that sight makes bacon and egg bagels look very unappealing.

I've had a lovely snuggly morning with the DC in my bed. Lots of cuddles and giggles.

I'm working until midnight tonight, but that's my last shift so I can get christmas sorted.

Loads of laundry to do today.

bloody hell laundry! thanks blitzen - rewashed the laundry for the third time this morning and nearly forgot it again!

I think I have one load in the tumble drier, one load washed and ready to be dried and a couple more loads to wash.

i now have one load hanging all over my house drying, another load stacked in an ikea bag ready to go on wash and at least another load in the laundry basket

how does this happen?

I do about 8 loads a week. It breeds, I swear.

realistically if i stayed on top of it i reckon i could do 2 loads a week and be sorted.

how i get this far behind is a mystery - suspect actually that it's laziness and the fact that every load has to be washed at least twice because i forget it's out there actually

I wish I could get away with 2 loads a week.

Dubs, it drives me mad when I am ironing shorts at this time of year knowing full well they can't have been worn.

Washer is on it's second load before the bloody pipes freeze again. More snow overnight here and the trees are covered in thick frost.

DH has gone into town and dropped Christmas pressies off with people. I Must write the neighbours a card each!!

yep i think it'll be a while before i visit mine again morning.

my outside loo (not literally outside) won't flush so i presume it's frozen. luckily washing machine is fine, it's in the same barn as the boiler so that probably helps.

me and ds just had a horrible fall down the stairs. postman knocked just as i'd gotten in the shower, i jumped out and grabbed a towel then slipped on the way down the stairs taking ds out like a bowling pin with me.

doorman had girl in towel and screaming child to greet him.

my nephews book (ordered well after tc's gift) has turned up and my ss from ireland. so sorry tc.

still waiting on a couple of things my dad and one each for sis and mum. can't believe it's so slow!

yeah just twisted my wrist and bashed my foot. think wrist will hurt more later but nothing serious. ds hurt his foot but seems fine now - asked and he says it's feeling better now.

lucky - i managed to get my hand down and sort of stop myself before i took him and me into the wall at the bottom.

got a good adrenaline rush going on though
