Eating after stomach bug?

My teenage dd had the most awful stomach bug last week - she was throwing up almost continuously for 12 hours, then she was completely wiped out - hardly able to sit up for another day (she was ill for all the snow days, much to her fury!) She was up and about again at the weekend, doing more or less normal activities, although she tired quickly, and she was back at school on Monday. The problem now is she's finding it very hard to eat. She knows she should, but finds it practically impossible - and she's a girl who usually enjoys food. She can't face the thought of meat, or anything creamy or fatty. Since last Thursday, when she started being able to think about food at all, she's had some plain pasta, some butternut squash soup, some mashed potato, a boiled egg and some bubble and squeak. Oh, and a couple of satsumas. `Her last proper meal was last Monday. Can anyone think of anything that might tempt her? Or, at least, that she could manage to eat?

Poor thing ..I recall something similar when I was 4mths pg but thankfully it was only 1 night ( 8 times!) try Risotto with parmesan, Make some genuine chicken soup , no eggy oily things and a little bit of what she fancies

Risotto's a good idea - I discounted it because the one I usually make is a very high-days-and-holidays version with lots of butter and parmesan! But I could make a more austere version.

Gp once told me to have mash, boiled rice or, bit surprised, stewed apple - apparently there's something in it that helps to sort it out.
