Ovulation pain - is it sore to touch?

I have a really bad pain on my right side, recon it might be ovulation pain but it's really tender to touch - is ovulation pain like that?

It can be.

However, your appendix is also there so if the pain is sharp and persistent, the doctor's may be a good call.
