Hi

On Sep 29th I had a LLETZ to remove CIN2, I got the letter back saying that there was no cancer which was a massive relief.

Since then, 9 weeks on, I've been bleeding most days. It's been quite light and managable but I reliased that I probably ought to get to the doctors. I went last week and had an internal, and she could see that my cervix was red raw and looked (and I quote!) angry. She wasnt sure what was causing it, so she had a word with the consultant the next day and called me back. She left me a perscription for some Dalacin cream which is used to treat vagainal infections.

I've been using this since Thursday, and now my bleeding is worse than ever. She told me that if it's no better after a week to call the colposcopy nurse and see if they can book me in the hospital for another appointment.

I feel so tired and light headed all the time. I'm a stay at home mum to my son who is 10 months, and all I do somedays is plonk him in front of the TV because I'm just too tired to play with him. It makes me feel so sad.

Does anyone have any advice, I'm so worried about this.
Thanks

hi
i have a similar situation. I had a baby 9 weeks ago and they saw my cervix was red and angry. I have had the bleeding from having baby but also more bleeding irregularly which I assume is my periods getting back into the swing of things. My red angry cervix is down to an infection called bacterial vaginosis which is really common apparently. Im worried too like you and will be interested to see what other people post.
