In Spain people say that changes in temperature are often provokes you catching a cold. I always tell them it's bacteria and that their theory is an old wive's tale like not eating after swimming. What does everyone think?

There is some truth in it apparently although I thought it was an old wives too for a long time. Temperature changes don't cause a cold (viruses do) but they make you more susceptible to catching the virus.
