Anyone tried Contraception Implants?

If so, which ones? And what are the pros and cons?

Someone at work was telling me about hers today, and I love the idea of no periods!

I did, I just wanted to know of other's experiences.

I had implanon and have just had it removed. Had it for 2 years and bled irratically throughout

Have just started on the pill patches so will see how that goes.

Oh, only wanted to try it for the cessation of periods!

Would love to know more about patches too, actually.

Well, I already have mood swings, so it's good if I can avoid them!

How is it supposed to make your periods stop? That must be something different..

I got an implant 2.5 months ago. Pretty easy to insert, painful arm for 2-3 weeks afterwards, didn't feel totally normal in my arm until about 5 weeks afterwards.

Has been ok but I just had a 3 week period which isn't that unusual while the body gets used to it. I AM HOPING that things have settled down, now.

But for the period/spotting I Like it much better than any other contraception I've tried.
