Go back to your GP and ask if you are worried/still in pain.

Try it and let your body be your guide. I found it took me about 3 months to get back to it, but I also have a forceps delivery w/a major episiotomy.

EXPAT - feel for you as my first was forceps & really painful after. hope you're ok now?
i feel loads better this time but also don't wt to overdo it -still need to work on that tummy though!

did you get a postnatal exercise sheet at any point with other leaflets etc after your baby?
agree about taking it slowly, but you should be OK with giving it a go.

nice to see your name on here again, mummytosteven .

You should be ok now misschief, just be guided by your own feelings. I've just had my six week check and was told that I can start swimming again, no problems.

Make sure you do pelvic floors before you start anything vigorous ! Some sports centres do postnatal groups to ease you back in (or in my case in and then stop) over few weeks before you take a regular class.
